Green Bay Women's Tennis Coach Karen Neuman Resigns

After nine seasons as the head women's tennis coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Karen Neuman has announced her decision to resign. Neuman was just the second coach in the program's history, replacing Jan Pum, who held the post for 25 years prior to retiring in the spring of 2000.[+]

Green Bay's Season Ends With 1-0 Defeat at Loyola

For the eighth and final time this season, the Green Bay softball team (13-25) came out on the wrong end of a one-run decision, as the Phoenix dropped a 1-0 result to Loyola (21-24-1) on Saturday morning. The Phoenix, the sixth seed in the Horizon League Tournament, played well, notching three wins, while suffering two one-run losses, including one in extra innings to top-seeded Cleveland State.

Jenna Woepse had three hits to raise her tournament batting average to .571.
