The Green Bay Basketball Slam Dunk Reading Club is an incentive based reading
program geared toward students in grades K-8. As part of this FREE reading
program, schools can look forward to the following ...
The program is easily adaptable to any curriculum and existing reading program
as time lines and goals are established by the schools. The program runs for a
four week period between October 1 - November 30.
Each student participating in the reading program will receive a Goal Tracking
Bookmark to keep track of their weekly reading goals.
When students reach all four weekly reading goals, they earn a Slam Dunk and
will receive two FREE TICKETS to your school's Slam Dunk Reading Club Night
at a Green Bay Men's OR Women's basketball game! (Games dates are selected by
the school. Any 2007-2008 regular season men's or women's game is available.)
The school's Program Coordinator and classroom teachers will receive a
FREE ticket as a thank you for running the program within your school!
Family and friends are also invited to attend your school's reading club
night and will be able to purchase tickets a special reduced price!

The Game Plan...
1. Select a Program Coordinator to be the
main Reading Club contact.
2. The Program Coordinator enrolls by
emailing halfmana@uwgb.edu
3. Select a Reading Club Night.
4. Reading Club Kits are mailed with
everything needed for the program.
5. Students start reading and reaching
