The Phoenix Fund provides support for approximately 250 student-athletes competing in Green Bay Athletics' 16 NCAA Division I varsity sports. With scholarship costs continually on the rise, the athletic department depends on the support of alumni, friends of the program and corporations to maintain the high level of competition.

As a donor to the Phoenix Fund, you are contributing to the success of UW-Green Bay student-athletes in the classroom and in athletic competition.

The 2006-07 Phoenix Fund annual fall fund drive was a huge success. Over 100 Phoenix Fund board members, community friends and staff members help us renew memberships and recruit new members. Our campaign goal for this year was $375,000 and collections exceeded $386,000 and membership expanded by over 200 new members to 821 Phoenix Fund supporters.

We welcome members all throughout the year, so please consider joining the Phoenix Fund today.

Joining the Phoenix Fund is an excellent opportunity to network with over 800 businesses, individuals and community members who support our NCAA Division I athletics program. Phoenix Fund membership listings are published in various university publications that are annually distributed to over 20,000 organizations, alumni and friends of Green Bay Athletics.

There are many benefits that you receive when you join the Phoenix Fund. They include priority parking, invitations to upcoming members-only events, and a subscription to Ascend, a quarterly newsletter that updates you with the latest information regarding Phoenix Athletics. The most important benefit you will receive is the satisfaction that you are providing the opportunity for UW-Green Bay student-athletes to achieve at the highest level both academically and athletically.
