Road Contests Continue For Green Bay Athletics

Green Bay Athletics is slated for another weekend of road contests this week, as men's soccer, women's soccer, cross country and men's tennis are on the road throughout the Midwest.

Men's Soccer Heads South for Big East Foes

The Green Bay men's soccer team (1-1-0) has a pair of road contests this weekend to conclude its season-opening road swing. The Phoenix will face DePaul Friday at 4 p.m. at Wish Field before challenging instate rival Marquette Sunday at 1 p.m.

Women's Soccer Gets Northern Exposure

The Green Bay women's soccer team (0-2-0) faces a pair of foes on the road this weekend, starting with Northern Illinois Friday at 4 p.m. Green Bay then challenges Northern Iowa Sunday at noon.

Volleyball Idle This Week

After two road tournaments to open the season, the Green Bay volleyball team (1-5) will take a break from action this week. Green Bay will return to competition Sept. 14 at the four-team Minnesota Gopher Invitational.

Cross Country Set to Race at Valparaiso

The Green Bay men's and women's cross country teams will participate in the Crusader Open hosted by Valparaiso University. The women's 4K race begins at 5 p.m. with the men's 6K event set for 5:45 p.m.

Men's Tennis Starts Off-Season Play

The Green Bay men's tennis team will begin its fall off-season this weekend at the Western Illinois Invitational Friday and Saturday in Macomb, Ill.
