Men's Golf Finishes Season Finale in Seventh at Titan Invite

DETROIT - The Green Bay men's golf team concluded the 2008 regular season Saturday with the final round of the Titan Invitational, hosted by the University of Detroit Mercy. Green Bay could not gain on the field in the final round, finishing seventh in the nine-team field. Host Detroit took team honors with an eight-stroke lead over second-place Loyola. Travis Meyer was Green Bay's top finisher, as the senior moved up to a tie for eighth place after carding a one-over 73 on Saturday to finish with a three-round total of 223. Garrett Gosh also was on the move in Saturday, jumping 10 places to finish 17th overall after shooting a team-best one-under 71. Brady Mork was unable to keep pace from Friday, dropping to a tie for 23rd with his three-round total of 230. Carson Solien (T-34, 235) and Bo Van Handel (48th, 254) concluded Green Bay's scoring. Green Bay heads to Dayton, Ohio April 28-29 for the 2008 Horizon League Golf Championship at Shaker Run Golf Course.
