RICHMOND, Ky. - The Green Bay men's golf team was unable to keep up its pace from Friday as the Phoenix dropped to fourth Saturday in the final round of the nine-team EKU Colonel Classic, hosted by Eastern Kentucky.

Travis Meyer (River Falls, Wis.) was the lone Green Bay golfer to hit par on Saturday, notching a 72 to tie for 17th overall with a five-over 219. Teammate Garrett Gosh (Pewaukee, Wis.) also finished 17th overall after shooting a six-over 78.

Adam Austreng (Shawano, Wis.) tied for 24th with a seven-over 221, while Bo Van Handel matched his tournament low with a two-over 74 to finish tied for 32nd. Brady Mork rounded out the Phoenix with an 11-over 225.

The host Colonels blew away the field for the title, shooting 42-under par and posting a 49-stroke lead over second-place Malone College (871). Marshall moved into third by besting Green Bay by a stroke, 873 to 874.

Green Bay heads to Indianapolis Oct. 1-2 for the Butler Invitational.
