"I am excited to have Mike joining our staff," said head coach Tom Poitras following Kulas' hire. "He was a hard-working, driven and competitive player and he will bring those same traits to our program as a coach. I feel extremely fortunate to have him join our Phoenix soccer family. Mike will be a quality role model and will help continue to improve Green Bay soccer."

As a collegiate standout, Kulas shined as a defender under Poitras' watch at Southern New Hampshire.
