FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Green Bay men's tennis team (7-9) posted a 6-1 victory Thursday over the New Jersey Institute of Technology in a neutral court match.

Freshman Mike Wesley tallied his first career two-win day for the Phoenix, notching a straight set victory at No. 6 singles while pairing with Eric Plaushines for an 8-0 shutout at No. 3 doubles. Plaushines also added a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles.

Matt Clegg and Mark Goldin were also two-game winners for Green Bay. Clegg tallied a straight-set win at No. 2 singles to go with a victory at No. 2 doubles with Matt Keesey. Goldin rallied for a three-set win at No. 3 singles and paired with Tim Prudlow for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

Brian Zaron extended his singles winning streak to four games with a straight-set win at No. 4 singles.

Green Bay returns to action against UW-Oshkosh April 4.
