DAYTON, Ohio - The Green Bay women's basketball team (10-3, 2-0) utilized a key 19-2 second-half run midway through the decisive half as the Phoenix posted a 67-52 win over Wright State Saturday afternoon. The victory, Green Bay's sixth straight this season, extends its streak of wins over Horizon League foes to 21 straight games.

Kayla Groh added 13 points while Lavesa Glover, who just missed a double-double with nine rebounds, joined with Kati Harty to score 12 points apiece.

Wright State (4-9, 1-1) led for most of the first half, leading by as much as six, 24-18, before an 11-4 Green Bay rally to close the half gave the Phoenix a 33-30 advantage at the break.

The Raiders stayed in striking range in the second half early, tying the contest three times, but could not take the advantage. With the game knotted at 40 apiece with just over 13 minutes to go, Green Bay mounted a 19-2 run over the next seven minutes to lead 59-42 with 6:18 to play.

Green Bay's defense held Wright State to 39 percent shooting in the second half, while the team was unflappable on offense, committing just three turnovers in the final 20 minutes.

The Phoenix also finished with a 30-14 advantage in points in the paint. Erin Templin and Glover led Green Bay in a slim 29-27 lead on the boards, with each junior nabbing eight rebounds apiece.
