GREEN BAY, Wis. - Head Coach Lucas Hana has announced that Stephanie Fifield (Oconto Falls, Wis./Oconto Falls) and Eleanor Yorobe (Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy) are set to join the Green Bay women's golf team for the 2008-09 season.

Fifield, a first-team all-conference performer three years in a row, led Oconto Falls at state two times in her high school career. She was her team's MVP three times and was also selected to the Green Bay Press Gazette's first-team all-area two years in a row.

"Stephanie is probably the hardest worker I've ever met," Hana said. "She should bring a lot of consistency to the team and we're very excited to have her."

In addition, the future Green Bay golfer played softball for Oconto Falls in each of her four years. Stephanie is the daughter of Curtis and Julie Fifield.

Yorobe, co-captain of her team each of the past two years, was a five-time letter winner in golf at Kennedy High School. She received all-conference honors two times, and is on pace for a third award.

Yorobe was a participant in the Minnesota Junior PGA/Players Tour, MGA and Optimist International Tournaments.

"Eleanor has a great work ethic," Hana said. "She is dedicated to improving and is dedicated to playing golf at the college level. She's a great addition to the team."

Outside of golf, Yorobe is a member of the National Honor Society, Ignite Mentorship and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She was also on the school's swim team for two years. Eleanor is the daughter of Ed and Leonora Yorobe.

"Both Stephanie and Eleanor are very capable of playing as freshmen," Hana said. "It's exciting to bring in recruits that have an opportunity to play right away."
