GREEN BAY, Wis. - Green Bay women's golf coach Lucas Hana has announced that Katelin Tabbert (Onalaska, Wis.) has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Phoenix next year. Tabbert was a two-time all-state selection at Onalaska High School for coach Daren Simms.

"We are thrilled that Katelin will be coming to Green Bay," Hana said. "She is a very talented golfer who will be a cornerstone of our program for the next four years. Katelin is exactly the type of student-athlete who we want to attract to our program."

Tabbert was a three-time Mississippi Valley Conference medalist and a two-time league Player of the Year. This fall, she placed sixth at the state tournament individually, helping her squad to a runner-up finish. Following the season, she was named second-team all-state.

As a junior, Tabbert was a first-team all-state selection after finishing sixth at the state event. She placed 11th at the Wisconsin high school tournament as a sophomore.

Tabbert, the daughter of Lori and Don Tabbert, is a member of the National Honor Society and a two-time Onalaska Student of the Month.
