MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Green Bay women's tennis team (1-8) lost 7-0 Saturday to Marquette University in a non-conference in-state matchup.

Green Bay dropped the doubles point to start the contest, as the Phoenix tallied only two games in three matches.

In singles action, Green Bay lost all six matches in straight sets. Marquette's Erin Watkins defeated Emily Lawent 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.

The Phoenix returns to action March 8 in a neutral site contest against Horizon League foe Wright State.
